St. James Preschool offers a wide variety of programs to meet your child's (and your family's) unique needs …


FUN WITH TOTS MORNING PROGRAM  
         available Monday thru Friday 9 am – 11:30 am
  • Must be between 18 months and 2 1⁄2 years
  • 2 teachers with a max of 7 children per day
  • Activities include large motor play, free play, singing, story time & craft projects
  • For children ready for independent play & learning


3-YEAR-OLD PRESCHOOL PROGRAM
           available Monday thru Friday 9 am - 11:30 am OR Full Day 9 am - 2 pm

  • Age-appropriate curriculum designed for students to develop social and academic development
  • Age-appropriate and age-sensitive exposure to basic religious concepts
  • Activities include circle time, story time, large and fine motor skills development, music, dramatic play, small & large group activities    

4-YEAR-OLD PRESCHOOL
       available Monday thru Friday 9 am - 11:30 am OR Full Day 9 am - 2 pm
  • Program promotes learning, socialization and self-esteem
  • Age-appropriate and age-sensitive exposure to basic religious concepts
  • Activities include games, crafts, large and small motor skills, dramatic play, story time, circle time, language & literature, social studies, pre- reading, pre-math skills, scientific thinking and free choice play

KINDERGARTEN READINESS
            available Monday thru Friday 9 am - 2 pm
  • Acts as a ‘growth year’ between preschool & Kindergarten
  • For children who may need another year of social development
  • Age-appropriate and age-sensitive exposure to basic religious concepts
  • Extends concepts in pre-reading, mathematics, science, social studies, fine & large motor skills, music, Spanish, art, and hands-on learning.

In addition, the school offers these extended day options for students enrolled in one of the Preschool Programs:

  • Early Birds from 8 am to 9 am
  • Lunch Bunch from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm
  • Amazing Sports from 2 pm to 4 pm
